Apostille is a rectangular stamp, which is used to verify a copy of the official document and its translation, proving that the document has legal power on the territory of any country, that has joined the Hague Convention signed October, 5 1961.
Apostille can be used for the following papers: marriage/divorce certificates, birth certificates, death certificates, high school diplomas, university/college diplomas, founding documents, charters, certificates of registration with tax authorities, etc. This procedure is also required for documents received from the notary public: parental consent for a child going abroad, powers of attorney and others.
